Richard D. Scofield Period Lighting Fixtures exterior wall mounted double candle lantern with mirrored back. It measures 18" high x 9.5" wide x 8.5" deep. It is #L-325 in the original Period Lighting Fixtures catalog. Richard Scofield made the finest exact copies of period American lighting in the country and was allowed by Historic Deerfield to make copies of its collection. This lantern has real hand dipped beeswax candle covers, and rich patina. After he died at an early age, the company continued under different ownership. The earlier works like this one are coveted by collectors of period Americana.
